How we source
Primary documents first, always. Earnings call transcripts, quarterly MD&As, SEC and SEDAR filings, exchange inventory data, and government and IGO publications. Trade press second, and named as such. Industry bodies third, with their funding disclosed.
We do not use bullion dealer blogs, promotional newsletters, or any analysis that ends in a buy button.
Editorial standards
- Every number links to the document it came from.
- Quotes name the speaker, their role, and the venue and date.
- When a source has a position, we say so in the same paragraph.
- Corrections are made in place with a dated note, not quietly.
